The Foundation helps fund state-of-the-art facilities, technologies and program enhancements to meet the healthcare needs of your family, friends and neighbors in the Hillsboro and surrounding communities.

How You Can Help

Any individual, corporation, foundation or other organization may make a gift payable to the Hillsboro Area Health Foundation. Gifts or bequests to the Foundation obtain the same maximum tax benefits for the donor as contributions made directly to the Hospital. All gifts made are used for the sole benefit of Hillsboro Area Hospital's mission to positively affect the health and welfare of the communities it serves.

If you would like to become a member of the Foundation's family of supporters, you may do so in several ways:

Designate your gift for a restricted purpose or specific project, or you may allow the Foundation's Board of Directors to determine the most necessary application of your donation

Make a donation to memorialize or commemorate any individual, family or group

Make a planned gift or deferred donation, to maximize tax advantages and/or protect current or future income

Make a corporate matching gift

Make a gift of appreciated securities

Gifts may be made in person at the Foundation office, by telephone, by mail, or (soon)online.

The Wall of Honor

Hillsboro Area Health Foundation established a timeless tribute to recognize individuals, businesses, foundations and organizations who make financial contributions to Hillsboro Area Hospital .

The Wall of Honor is located in the Hospital’s front lobby near the Information desk. The wall is a grateful acknowledgement of the donors who give so generously to the healthcare needs of the community.

Whether you are a current donor or considering a first time gift, when you give to Hillsboro Area Health Foundation you share in the hospital's commitment of providing healthcare excellence.
