High Tech Comes in Small Package

Cardiologist Dr. Robert Trask, from Prairie Cardiovascular Consultants Ltd, is holding up one of the new smaller-sized cardiac event monitors recently acquired by Hillsboro Area Hospital's laboratory and EKG department.
This technology is designed to capture the occasional abnormal feeling or chest pain that might occur during the wearer’s usual daily activities including work.
The new lightweight monitors are about the size of a very small digital camera.
